Peter Griffiths has been The National Trust's Regional Director for the East of England since March 2002, where he has been responsible for delivering some major changes - new structures, an enlarged region (boundaries now coincide with those of the Government region) and the relocation of the Regional Office to Bury St. Edmunds. Peter is on the Historic Environment Forum and a Community Stakeholder member of the East of England Regional Assembly. A chartered surveyor by training, Peter has held a number of posts within The National Trust - a policy role at Head Office, as Director for the Trust's Kent and East Sussex region and as Director of the Southern region, covering south west London, Surrey, West Sussex, Hampshire and the Isle of Wight. |
